2019 BMW M8 Design » Price » Release Date 2019 BMW 8 Series Coupe only two-door large GT-car in production is the 6 Series which is fine but it can’t really match some of its rivals. However, it seems that this is about to change in the near future. Not that long ago a camouflaged prototype of the 2019 BMW 8 Series has been spied testing on the Nurburgring. The car was considerably larger than the 6 Series and so far it seems that it will be loosely based on the Concept 8 Series which was showcased last month. The production vehicle won’t be identical to it but it will share quite a few design traits. BMW 8 Series Concept is more than likely going to be based on BMW’s CLAR modular architecture. This means it will feature an all aluminum construction with some carbon fiber elements. This will allow the car to be both light and strong, so it should be able to provide not only a great driving experience but also a great amount of comfort. So far it seems that it will boast a significantly longer wheelbase than the 6 Series and it will be both wider and longer. 2019 BMW M8 Design It is quite clear the upcoming 2019 BMW 8 Series will not be identical to the Concept 8 Series. While we would love to see that futuristic design in production, this won’t happen. However, there are some interesting design cues which will more than likely be adopted by the production car. The large kidney-grille as well as the slim headlights found on the concept will be seen on the 8 Series. On top of that it seems the roof-line will be mostly identical to the concept but the back of the car won’t be as dramatic. This is likely because the back of the concept is just too much for a production car. An M8 version sporting more aggressive bumpers, a quad-exhaust and different wheels is also going to be made available at launch.
